In October, an international expedition of the Russian Geographical Society took place along the route of Pyotr Semenov-Tyan-Shansky: from Bishkek to Karakol. Geographers, geologists, seismologists and archaeologists analyzed signs of climate change, examined mineral deposits, studied traces of ancient earthquakes and applied new points to the interactive map.
