Bishkek - April 4 /KGinform/. Tomsk Polytechnic University and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin we agreed on cooperation in the field of training specialists for the Center for Nuclear Medicine, which is planned to be implemented with the participation of «Rosatom», reports KRSU.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed within the framework of an educational seminar «Nuclear medicine: trends and advantages, status and development plans in Kyrgyzstan», organized by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin (KRSU) together with the state corporation «Rosatom» and Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU). Universities plan to develop cooperation in the field of creating joint master's degree educational programs, including in the field of «Nuclear Medicine (medical physics)». The new master's program will allow young specialists to gain fundamental knowledge in the field of nuclear medicine, radiation oncology and diagnostics, as well as master advanced technologies of radiation therapy and radiopharmaceuticals.
