Russian Sergei Volkov has been appointed acting rector of KRSU
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) officially introduced Sergei Volkov as acting rector. The event was held as part of an expanded academic council, which brought together employees, deans and students of the university.
The new leader was introduced by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky and Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Rasul Avazbek uulu.
Sergei Volkov noted in his speech that the university is faced with a number of accumulated problems that need to be solved: "We came to work," Volkov emphasized, introducing his team.
