During the Great Patriotic War, a huge number of enterprises were evacuated to Kyrgyzstan, whose workers in the rear brought the great Victory closer. About 300 thousand people arrived in the country, including from besieged Leningrad. At the same time, every fourth resident of the republic was sent to the front, many of our compatriots accomplished unprecedented feats.
