A competition for sketches of a new campus project for the B. Yeltsin KRSU has ended in Bishkek. During its thirty years of operation, thousands of graduates graduated from the university, but it never had its own separate dormitory and separate university campus.
In the anniversary year, the situation began to be corrected. The university rented residential buildings to accommodate some of the students, announced an increase in scholarships and announced a competition for projects for the future campus. Both professional, established architects and students of architectural specialties could take part in it.
According to the results of the competition, the project «Urban», which was developed by architects Bekzhan Turdubekov, Bekbolsun Zholdoshbekov and Shabdan Saipov, was recognized as the best work.
