Sometimes space can be closer than you think. This is how Stefania Fediai, who unexpectedly lived most of her life in Bishkek, found herself a participant in a unique experiment – SIRIUS-19. A former student of KRSU, and now an employee of the Moscow Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spent four months in conditions simulating a real flight to the Moon. In an interview 24.kg she spoke about her experiences, the importance of ground-based experiments in space exploration, and her fear of heights.
