It is attended by representatives of line ministries, diplomatic workers, about 60 rectors and representatives of Russian universities, as well as more than 60 managers and representatives of universities in Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science, joint personnel training, integration of the education systems of Kyrgyzstan and Russia within the framework of the development of Eurasian integration and the creation of a common educational process of the Eurasian Economic Union.
SFU Rector Maxim Rumyantsev participates in this Forum. The event takes place at Osh State University. Participants discuss common issues for higher education in the two countries, including training for the development of the EAEU economy, digital transformation in education, innovations in modern universities and others.
«The proposal of our founder – the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to build regular and systematic interaction with the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has become for us another important stage in the development of cooperation with universities of the Kyrgyz Republic. If for the first two years we worked in a format that was understandable to everyone – we shared our competencies, held summer schools, advanced training, and student festivals – then this year required us to concentrate our efforts on issues of strategic development of KRSU. In fact, my colleagues from the Slavic University and I formed proposals for its development program», says Maxim Rumyantsev. – We have identified general lines of cooperation. They are related to promising socio-economic areas of activity for the country and are based on the scientific and educational capital available in KRSU and Siberian Federal University.
