KRSU students will have a dormitory
June 27 live television broadcast of the KRSU Open Day by the acting Rector German Lotsev voiced two important innovations available to KRSU students in the new academic year.
First – from now on, nonresident students will be provided with a dormitory. This became possible thanks to funding from the Development Program of the Russian Federation (35 million rubles were allocated). Those who have social problems, low financial situation of parents and students from the regions will be able to receive a hostel. These could also be foreign students – citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.
Second point – from September 2023, incentive scholarships will be introduced for the best students – young professionals who have made scientific discoveries, participants in Olympiad movements, athletes and activists. Additional payments will amount to 10-15 thousand soms per month.
A total of 10 million rubles will be allocated for the payment of incentive scholarships.
