On the eve of the 226th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, the monument to the great Russian poet was updated in Bishkek. Restoration work was carried out with the support of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) and the financing of an entrepreneur from Yekaterinburg, Ivan Dubrovin, the owner of the Dubrovin foundry.
As reported by the KRSU, a bronze information plaque will be installed on the monument in the near future.
