On October 23, 2020, an online seminar «International technology transfer: quality of life as a development priority» was held at the RCSC in Bishkek with the participation of representatives of universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
The seminar participants were greeted by the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic Viktor Nefedov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, KRSU professor Valery Lelevkin and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the Research Institute named after N.V. Sklifosovsky Mogeli Khubutia.
As Viktor Nefedov noted, there remains a high need among residents of Kyrgyzstan to obtain Russian higher education. For citizens of the country, quotas are allocated for studying at medical universities in Russia, and competition for admission is usually 8 people per place.
During the seminar, representatives of the National Research University «Higher School of Economics», KSTU named after I. made presentations. Razzakov, TSPU named after L. Tolstoy, Moscow State Medical University named after Evdokimov, KSMA named after I. Akhunbaeva, South-West State University. The participants' speeches touched upon such topics as the incidence of COVID-19 and the effectiveness of antiviral measures, the use of metal nanoparticles in the diagnosis of cancer, the use of artificial intelligence in medicine, etc.
