Information technology one of the most dynamic and promising industries, so it is not surprising that these days it seems so attractive to any person, regardless of their gender or age. In this regard, our country has something to be proud of our programmers work for the international market and receive offers from global companies. Among them there are many girls who were able to combine career and family. And thus they prove that the women of Kyrgyzstan are capable of achieving great heights.

Nazik Zhumalieva

Nazik – graduate of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU. After working in the mining industry for 6 years, I decided to move into the technological field. Nazik says with a smile that the journey to business school was so long that by the time she entered, she was raising two children. The husband and children became the main support of our heroine, who decided to prove by personal example to her children, as well as to many girls, young women and women in Kyrgyzstan, that there is no framework limiting our dreams and goals. Since May 2018, she has been working at Google and can read her interview here

Aidai Akmatalieva

Aidai was born in Bishkek. Graduated from the College of Technology at KRSU and a bachelor's degree at KNU – accounting and auditing. I became interested in programming after creating the game Laney College in America. The girl decided to change her profession and become a programmer, and studied at the Seytech programming school. Before Microsoft, she worked at a startup. Aidai is a Windows operating system developer and the only girl on the team. According to her, she really likes the work of a programmer, the project is exciting, the tasks are not easy, but interesting, the team consists of smart and pleasant people, there are opportunities for growth and professional development. Outside of work, the girl mentors at the Seytech school, shares her knowledge with people who want to master the profession of a programmer and work in top companies. Aidai is sure it is never too late to change professions. Plus, in her free time, she organizes various mitaps like «Women in Technology» at the Seytech school so that there are more female programmers.
