A vibrant interuniversity festival «Cultural Code of Eurasia» was held in Bishkek.
Its participants were students from the capital's universities, who demonstrated to the audience the culture and traditions of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The festival was organized by the Foundation «Eurasians – New Wave».
The country that this or that team will represent became known as a result of the preliminary draw. Thus, the team of the Kyrgyz National University named after. Zh. Balasagyna introduced the audience to the culture of Armenia. Bishkek State University named after. K. Karasaev demonstrated the traditions of Belarus, the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic dedicated its speech to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan was presented by students of the Kyrgyz State University. It is symbolic that the culture of Russia, according to the draw, was represented by the team of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin.
The jury evaluated the participants' performances in the following categories:
–Best Country Presentation/Presentation – Kyrgyz Republic International University team;
–Best performance of folk dance – team of BSU named after. K. Karasaev;
–Best theatrical performance of folk rites/customs – team of KNU named after. Zh. Balasagyn;
– Best performance of a folk song – KSU team. AND. Arabaeva;
– Best teamwork – students of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin.
