A department of the Pushkin Institute opened in Bishkek

A department of the Pushkin Institute was opened on the basis of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Yeltsin (KRSU) in Bishkek.

 

According to the rector of the university, Vladimir Nifadiev, the new platform will make the work of experts from the Pushkin Institute to study the situation of the Russian language in the republic more productive. «KRSU is becoming a spiritual bridge between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in terms of promoting the Russian language and cultures of our peoples» nifadiev thinks.
