The II Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum started at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. N. Yeltsin, uniting 65 universities from the two countries, as well as representatives of the business community, ministries, development funds and the academic community. The event was a continuation of the strategic dialogue in the field of education, which began back in 2019.

The forum takes place against the backdrop of growing global competition — economic, scientific and technological. As Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sergei Vakunov noted, in such conditions universities become key players in the formation of a sustainable economy.
