A Kyrgyz-Russian media forum opened in Bishkek
The media forum is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KRSU; it will bring together students and teachers from the CIS countries.
BISHKEK, October 12 – Sputnik. A Kyrgyz-Russian media forum was opened at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin with the participation of Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky and the rector of the university Denis Fomin-Nilov.
«The task of the forum – help young media professionals expand their circle of professional contacts and gain new in-demand skills. The children will have to communicate with recognized experts, learn about the development of the concept of inter-university media and the principles of journalistic ethics. One of the results of the forum will be the opening of a student media center at KRSU. I am confident that it will become an excellent platform for improving the qualifications of student media activists and developing information cooperation between Russian and Kyrgyz universities», – mogilevsky said in his video message.
