Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk, together with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, held a meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Russian-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation. In an event held in the Kyrgyz Republic (g. Bishkek), representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of Russia and Kyrgyzstan took part.
The co-chairs of the IPC considered current issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture, logistics, digitalization, investment cooperation, as well as further expansion of cultural and humanitarian ties between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic and deepening integration within the Eurasian Economic Union.
