At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin began the international forum of teachers of the Russian language and subjects in Russian «Bilingual education today: global challenges and effective practices».
The Forum brought together more than 900 educators, scientists and managers from educational institutions in different countries 300 participants arrived in Bishkek in person, among them delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Abkhazia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In total, 263 educational organizations participate in the forum: 197 schools, 59 universities and 7 colleges.
Among the guests of honor are — Deputy Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Makhmetkulov, Acting Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Elena Tumakova, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Zulkharneev, First Vice-Rector of RUDN University Yulia Ebzeeva, as well as Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Council of the ANO «Eurasia» Alena Arshinova.
