BISHKEK, May 21 — Sputnik. A scientific and practical conference "The general history of Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the modern context" was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the university’s press service reports.
The round table discussed key issues of the common history of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, including approaches and assessments of historical events, the co-development of the peoples of Central Asia in the 19th-20th centuries and the significance of the discourse of "decolonization".
