In Bishkek, the bell was traditionally rung on the International Day of Peace
The International Day of Peace was celebrated in Bishkek under the UN program and support of the International Roerich Center.
The organizers were the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Tien Shan Society of the Roerichs, the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad and the City Council of Veterans.
During the opening ceremony at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the bell was traditionally rung and everyone could sign the symbolic ribbon of peace.
