Monuments to Ivan Panfilov and Kulubek Tuleberdiev were unveiled in the Chui region

The grand opening of monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War — General Ivan Panfilov and front-line writer Kulubek Tuleberdiev took place in Kyrgyzstan.

The monument to Ivan Panfilov, commander of the legendary 316th Infantry Division, was restored in the Panfilov district of the Chui region. The initiator of the project was the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The opening ceremony was attended by Presidential Envoy to the Chui Region Kanat Dzhumagazov, who noted the importance of preserving the historical memory of the feat of Kyrgyzstanis during the war.
