An international scientific conference was held at the Department of International Activities of the Crimean Federal University in memory of the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from fascist invaders.

«Our conference, in my opinion, carries not only the basic principles and mechanisms, but also the experience of previous generations, which are needed today especially at a time when the SVO is taking place. History in this sense is cyclical and requires taking into account previous experience», – noted the Vice-Rector for International Activities and Information Policy of KFU. V. Vernadsky, Professor Sergei Yurchenko.

Thus, university teachers made presentations. Research works were devoted to the consolidation of heroics in the history of Simferopol and Crimea, conceptual problems of continuity of historical memory and issues of the specifics of neo-Nazism.

Scientist, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Leonid Sumarokov joined the report remotely.

Kyrgyzstanis, without hesitation, supported the patriotic movement for providing Red Army soldiers with warm clothes», he said.
