In Kyrgyzstan, reconstruction of the monument to General Panfilov has begun

In the village named after Panfilov, Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, a working meeting was held on the issue of restoring the monument to the commander of the 316th Infantry Division, Ivan Panfilov. Sputnik reports this with reference to the press service of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).

According to the agency, the initiator of the restoration work was the acting rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov.
