The memory of Panfilov and Tuliberdiev was immortalized in Kyrgyzstan

The Kyrgyz authorities unveiled monuments to two legendary heroes of the Great Patriotic War — Cholponbai Tuleberdiev and Ivan Panfilov reports <TAG1> Sputnik Kyrgyzstan«.

The monument to Tuleberdiev was erected in the Aitmatovsky district of the Talas region, and the monument to Panfilov — in the Panfilovsky district of the Chui region.

The initiative to restore the monument to Major General Panfilov belonged to the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The opening ceremony was attended by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Chui region, Kanat Dzhumagaziev, and the Vice-Rector of the KRSU, Evgeny Shekunov. Next
