Bishkek - September 11 /KGinform/. At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a meeting was held between the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and a representative of the State Corporation «Rosatom» Ksenia Nikolaeva and General Director of the representative office in Kyrgyzstan Dmitry Konstantinov. The negotiations were devoted to strategic cooperation in the field of science, education and infrastructure development, reports KRSU.
One of the key topics was the creation of a modern research center on the basis of the future KRSU campus. Its structure will include laboratories, design bureaus and world-class installations, including a cyclotron. «This will allow the university to strengthen its position in training engineers and specialists in nuclear medicine, and will also give students the opportunity to work at advanced installations», – emphasized Sergei Volkov.
