BISHKEK, September 8 — Sputnik. A solemn event dedicated to the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Leningrad took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of the more than one million city residents who died during the siege, 97 percent of whom died of starvation.
