Work has begun in Kyrgyzstan to restore the monument to Ivan Panfilov
Bishkek, 03/24/25. /Saber/. In the village named after Panfilov, work has begun on restoring the monument to the legendary commander of the 316th Infantry Division Ivan Panfilov. The monument was in unsatisfactory condition for many years. The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University reports this on its Facebook page.
The initiator of the reconstruction was the acting rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) Sergei Volkov. Understanding the scale of the project and the need for significant financial investments, the organizers turned to patrons for support.
