The first mobile laboratory for the study of harmful emissions appeared in Kyrgyzstan. An innovation that will help fight smog was presented in Bishkek at the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The complex, assembled on the basis of a minibus, was designed by specialists from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology from Russian equipment.
According to Candidate of Geographical Sciences Andrei Podrezov, the first stationary station for monitoring atmospheric air quality was opened at KRSU in December 2018. At one time, it made it possible to obtain continuous data on pollution in the same way as four Kyrgyzhydromet stations in the capital then took measurements only once a day.

Transport does not play a dominant role in this matter, which our officials lobbying for various projects do not want and cannot understand. Air pollution – these are state-level problems, and an integrated approach is needed here», – said the candidate of geographical sciences.
