The Republican Olympiad on Financial Security will be held in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, 05/29/24. /Toktonaliev Spike– Kabar/. A memorandum of interaction was signed today in Bishkek between the State Financial Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman of the State Financial Markets Service Kanat Asangulov, Minister of Education and Science Dogdurgul Kendirbaeva and Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nurzhan Shaildabekova.

The event took place on the sidelines of the 40th plenary week of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism (EAG), taking place these days in Bishkek.

The purpose of the memorandum is to jointly organize and hold an Olympiad among schoolchildren of the country and students of professional lyceums in order to popularize issues of financial security, as well as to develop among young people the competence to identify suspicious types of financial transactions, reduce the risks of involvement in dubious banking transactions and prevent the spread of fraudulent schemes.

A tripartite agreement was also signed between the director of the training center of the State Financial Markets Service Lira Omurbekova, the director of the Center for Civic and Digital Education of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic Aisulu Bukambaeva and the rector of the KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov, through the resources of these organizations the Olympiad mechanism itself will be implemented.
