A modern textbook on computer science has been developed in Kyrgyzstan
As Artem Belyaev, senior lecturer at the Department of Information and Computing Technologies of KRSU, computer science teacher at Management Company AFMSHL «61, co-author of the textbook » Informatics№for grades 5-9, said at a press conference at the agency «Kabar», the textbook includes all areas of computer science that exist today.
«New technologies are also considered. The textbook is unique because it is not based on others. It is designed to be new in order to take information to the next level. Unfortunately, our schools have problems with education in terms of computer science. We are trying to change this. One of the steps – creating a textbook that will allow you to study programming not just one quarter at school, but from 5th to 9th grade. The students who will study will be able to choose a profession and will know about computer science and areas», he said.
Director of the Information Program, co-author of the textbook «Informatics» for grades 5-9, Lira Samykbaeva, said that a working group was created to develop the textbook, which included real practical teachers and programmers.
