In the village named after Panfilov, work began on restoring the monument to Ivan Panfilov, commander of the 316‑th Infantry Division, which had been in a deplorable state for a long time. The initiator of the project was the acting rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov. He emphasized the importance of preserving this monument as a symbol of the heroic past, which should remain in the memory of future generations.
