A limited edition of stamps was issued in Kyrgyzstan for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War
In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a unique limited edition of postage stamps dedicated to the Heroes of the Soviet Union — natives of the republic was issued in Kyrgyzstan. In a solemn atmosphere, the cancellation of stamps took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The series consists of 73 stamps, each of which is dedicated to one of the heroic sons of the Kyrgyz Republic, awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Total circulation — only 250 copies, which makes the collection truly exclusive.
