Scientists, politicians and public figures from Russia and Kyrgyzstan discussed the prospects for the development of the Russian language.
More than 50 major scientists, politicians and prominent public figures from Russia and Kyrgyzstan gathered in Bishkek to discuss how the Russian language is developing in Central Asia in general and in the Kyrgyz Republic – in particular. The scientific and practical conference organized by KRSU (Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University) became a platform for the exchange of views. It went under the name «Russian language in the bilingual space of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia: experience, searches, solutions».
