His name is inscribed on the stele of a mass grave in the Grayvoronsky city district
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) has officially confirmed that the Kyrgyz citizen who went missing in 1943 actually died during the Battle of Kursk. This was stated at the XI regional scientific and practical student conference «Family memory of the war», organized by the Belgorod State National Research University.
The conference was attended by the grandson of the front-line soldier Kubatbek Shamshiev and the deputy director of the Kosilovskaya school Natalya Matchina. It is the schoolchildren of this educational institution who care for the mass grave in the village of Kosilovo.
Vice-Rector of the KRSU Leonid Sumarokov spoke about the fate of the Red Army soldier Shamsha Egemzharov, who became a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR of the first convocation in 1938, in the Aerospace Forces mode. The scientist has been reconstructing the history of the participation of deputies of the first Kyrgyz parliament in the Great Patriotic War for several years.
