The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) has signed agreements with leading universities of the Russian Federation - St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
Solemn and important agreements for the KRSU were consolidated in Bishkek with the participation of leading representatives of educational institutions, representatives of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the ministries of education of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Igor Maslov, Head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries:
"The signing of the agreement was the result of long and thorough negotiations aimed at strengthening ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the fields of education and science. This is an important development, confirming the desire to develop academic exchange, joint research and curricula. We are talking about interuniversity cooperation, about a new impetus for the development of KRSU.
