A mural dedicated to the compiler of the fundamental Kyrgyz-Russian dictionary, Konstantin Yudakhin, will appear on the wall of the Faculty of Humanities of KRSU.
On the air of Sputnik Kyrgyzstan radio, the granddaughter of professor Tatyana Yudakhina and the vice-rector of KRSU, historian Leonid Sumarokov spoke about the work and lifestyle of the Turkologist and Kyrgyz scholar.
According to Tatyana Yudakhina, the scientist created his dictionary thanks to his love for the Kyrgyz language and phenomenal hard work.
Leonid Sumarokov told how, due to his excellent knowledge of the Kyrgyz language, the professor was almost mistaken for a spy.
