Volunteers trained citizens in water safety rules

Information agency 24.kg <TAG1>As part of the project – +100 to life«, company volunteers, together with employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bishkek and students of the Department of Emergency Protection of the KRSU, conducted demonstration exercises to rescue drowning people on Pioneer Lake in Karagachev Grove.

 

The initiators of the demonstration exercises were the project team «+100 to life».

 

The exercises consisted of a practical demonstration part to save a drowning person and actions to revive him on the shore.

 

Thus, according to legend, the rescue of a drowning man was carried out twice – by swimming and from a rescue boat. The role of the drowning man was a KRSU student. According to the plan, he swam to the depths, got tired, swallowed water and lost consciousness.

 

Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and students of the KRSU swam and successfully delivered the drowning man to the shore of the lake, where they demonstrated resuscitation procedures – artificial respiration and chest compressions.
