«Victory Volunteers» of Kyrgyzstan summed up the preliminary results of the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory

An introductory meeting of regional team leaders and curators of school and student groups of the international social movement «Victory Volunteers» of the Kyrgyz Republic took place at the RCSC in Bishkek.

 

Opening the event, movement coordinator in Kyrgyzstan Anastasia Shevchenko noted that thanks to active work, a sincere approach to activities and the support of partners, the Kyrgyz team continues to occupy a leading position among teams from the CIS countries, despite quarantine restrictions. The participants heard a video greeting from the chairman of the central headquarters of the movement «Victory Volunteers» Olga Amelchenkova, who thanked the guys for their work and wished them strength and further success.

 

The curator of youth and volunteer projects of the RCSC in Bishkek, Baira Buvaeva, emphasized that the doors of the Russian center are always open for the implementation of initiatives «Victory Volunteers», and the participation of members of the movement is noticeable not only in thematic events, but in all areas of youth cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

 

Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad Marat Kutanov addressed the children with words of gratitude. Every year there are fewer and fewer veterans, combatants, home front workers, and blockade survivors, and therefore attention to them becomes an important part of preserving and passing on historical memory to a new generation, especially in the work to prevent distortion of history. Marat Kutanov, on behalf of the chairman of the society, presented the leaders of school and student teams with certificates of honor for their personal contribution to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War and the siege of Leningrad. Members of the Student Detachment «Victory Volunteers» of the KRSU named after B.N. were also awarded a commemorative certificate. Yeltsin.
