Universities in Kyrgyzstan will expand ties with universities in the CIS countries

Development of exchange of experience between university communities of the CIS countries, development and implementation of joint innovative projects – these topics became key at the Forum of Rectors of Humanitarian Universities and Deans of Humanities Faculties of the Commonwealth States. It took place online, and colleagues from Kyrgyzstan also took part in it.

 

The entire forum was held under the banner of the 30th anniversary of the CIS celebrated next year. Among the participants were the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Forum of Rectors of Humanitarian Universities and Deans of Humanities Faculties of the CIS States, President of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Efim Pivovar, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency «Rossotrudnichestvo» Pavel Shevtsov, Executive Director of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation Anatoly Iksanov, heads of leading universities in the Commonwealth countries, including the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Vladimir Nifadiev representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, both chambers of the Russian parliament, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and others.
