Kyrgyzstan's health care lacks 2,000 pediatricians

On April 22-23, an international conference is being held in Bishkek under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic «Human health in modern conditions: age aspects. Innovations in medicine and education», which discusses the diverse aspects of human health and pathology at various periods of its development, including newborns, children and adolescents. Yesterday master classes were held with the support of the NGO «Alliance of Regional Doctors».

There is no doubt that it needs to be revived, rehabilitated and requires the adoption of urgent comprehensive measures to provide personnel, hospital beds, update and strengthen the infrastructure of healthcare organizations, and improve the qualifications of medical workers. And also in the introduction of new diagnostic and treatment technologies, social and legal protection of medical workers», said vb.kg president of the NGO «Association of Children's Doctors of the Kyrgyz Republic», chief freelance pediatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, professor of the KRSU Shayirbek Sulaimanov.

 

According to the professor, it is difficult to imagine the advancement of reforms without a new addition, without the fresh look of young educated, talented and creative personnel. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, in cooperation with the main freelance and leading specialists, as well as professional medical associations, has taken a course towards improving the quality of medical care for children.
