Kyrgyzstan through the work of S. Babajanov.

As part of the program under study, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, G.A. Pryanikova, a lesson about Kyrgyzstan was presented to 1st year students of the Faculty of Economics through the work of a modern artist, a famous person, a resident of the republic, Sabidzhan Babadzhanov. The main emphasis was placed on the regional composition of the country, the characteristics of each region, natural attractions and historical monuments. Students prepared mini-reports about the artist himself and about the regions of Kyrgyzstan. Babajanov's book «In the Footsteps of the Leaving Caravan» was briefly discussed. At the beginning of the lesson, a short quiz was held on knowledge of information about the republic, then the students split into groups and wrote one characteristic feature of the region in their opinion. After the presentation, a discussion took place in groups. At the end of the lesson, the students summed up the results by discussing philosophical statements from the book. (20/10/25)
