The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov signed Decree № 348 of October 12, 2026, providing for increased scholarships for students of state educational institutions of primary, secondary and higher vocational education, as well as postgraduate vocational education programs (postgraduate and doctoral studies). This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation and Science.

The solution is aimed at strengthening social support for students and increasing their financial interest. The specific amounts of new scholarships will be determined additionally.

Supporting students and creating conditions for realizing their potential are important areas of work of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. KRSU has a system of measures of material support and encouragement for students who demonstrate high results in educational, scientific and social activities.

In particular, the university has established personalized scholarships in five areas, which are awarded to students for high achievements in educational, scientific, creative, sports and social activities. Compensation payments are also provided for nonresident and foreign students for accommodation. Additional opportunities for material support are provided within the framework of partnership scholarship programs of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), companies «Bishkek Solar», «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan» and other organizations.

Such programs allow you to celebrate the achievements of students, support their initiatives and create additional conditions for further educational and professional development.
