Greater Eurasia: dialogue of languages and cultures (online forum, June 3, 2022)

On June 3, 2022, an online forum «Greater Eurasia: Dialogue of Languages and Cultures» dedicated to International Russian Language Day will be held.

 

Time: 1300-1800

 

Organizers:

– Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin;

– State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin;

– International Analytical Club «Issyk-Kul – Greater Eurasia».

 

Dear colleagues based on recognition and respect for the diversity of world order models and understanding of the importance of dialogue between languages and cultures in the modern world, the organizers determine the main goals of the Forum are:

 

– strengthening humanitarian cooperation and integration ties between the countries of Greater Eurasia;

– expansion of international interaction in the space of Russian language and culture;

– combining the efforts of the scientific and pedagogical community of European and Asian countries to develop optimal and effective methods for studying Russian as a foreign language/non-native language;

– constructive discussion of ways of educational, scientific, cultural and socio-humanitarian cooperation.

           

The task of the forum <TAG1> discuss current theoretical, methodological and practical issues in the following areas:

 

Section 1. Dialogue of languages and intercultural communication in the Eurasian space;

Section 2. Russian language as a leading factor in international educational, scientific and cultural cooperation;

Section 3. The position and functioning of the Russian language in Eurasian countries;

Section 4. Issues of teaching Russian as a foreign language/non-native language in Eurasian countries: opportunities and prospects;

 

Working language – Russian.

 

Procedure for participation in the Forum

Applications for participation in the Forum are accepted from both individuals and legal entities. The application is accompanied by the participant’s resume, the name of the section in which he intends to speak, abstracts or a test of the speech indicating the author’s full name, position, academic degree, and presentation of the report in Microsoft Office PowerPoint format.

 

Applications are accepted until May 15, 2022.

  

Materials received by the Organizing Committee are published on the Internet on the official websites of the Forum organizers and are published as a separate publication (electronic and paper) based on the results of the Forum.

 

Applications and articles for publication in the collection must be sent to the following email address: institut_russ@mail.ru  

 

The decision to publish materials is made by the Forum organizing committee. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

 

All Forum participants will be issued certificates.

 

Program and regulations of the Forum

 

The Forum program is formed on the basis of proposals from members of working groups and is approved by the rector of the KRSU.

 

Rules of Procedure of the Plenary Session: 

Reports – up to 15 minutes,

Breakout meeting rules:

Reports – up to 10 minutes. Speeches – up to 3 minutes.

Appendix 2.

Article design requirements (article manuscript must be submitted by May 15, 2022)

 

Text editor – MSWord 6.0 and higher. Font –Times New Roman, size – 14 pt. Fields: all 2 cm Paragraph indentation – 1.25 cm Line spacing – one and a half. Pages are not numbered.

 

First line in capital letters initials and surname of author(s).

 

After one and a half intervals in capital letters, the title of the work (if the title is several lines, then without hyphenation and line spacing – single).

 

Author and title are in bold.

 

The text of materials is printed with mandatory width alignment. References to sources are given in the text in numbers in square brackets [2]. The list of references is printed 1 interval from the main text, font size 12 pt. Sources are arranged in alphabetical order.

 

The text volume of the article is up to 6 pages of printed text in A4 format.
 

Abstract – required. The recommended average annotation size is between 250 and 300 printed characters.

 

The list of references is mandatory and must include all works used by the author.

Information about the author must contain: last name, first name, patronymic, position held, academic degree and place of work.

 

The text must be carefully proofread and edited by the author.
