Russian Language World Championship for foreigners — 2025: registration is open!

Prove that your team is the best in knowledge of the Russian language!

Registration for the 2025 World Championship in Russian for Foreigners has started — an international competition created for everyone who is learning Russian and wants to challenge themselves.

What awaits participants:

 • Informal competitive program — no dry theory, only dynamic challenges: quizzes, debates, blitz games, quests and even detective stages.

 • Geographical distribution of teams by division (Near Abroad, Asia, Africa, America, Europe) — fair and balanced selection of the strongest.

 • Final in Russia: in December the best will meet in Moscow. The travel, accommodation and meals of the finalists are paid for by the organizers.

Conditions of participation:

 • Team: 5 foreign citizens from 16 to 22 years old living outside the Russian Federation, with knowledge of the Russian language not lower than level A2.

 • Coach: a mentor over 21 years old who prepares the team. Online training master classes are provided for them.

Prizes and awards:

 • Medals and memorable prizes for the finalist teams.

 • Trip to Russia and cultural program for division finalists.

 • Main prize — Russian Language World Championship Cup and the title of super final winner.

Deadlines and registration:

 • Applications are open until September 15, 2025.

 • The application is submitted by the trainer by filling out the form on the website. If there is no command — you can leave your data through the Telegram bot, and the organizers will help collect it.
