Russian Language Day at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin (June 6-8, 2023)

From June 6 to 8, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin will host a series of events dedicated to the celebration of Russian Language Day.

 

The Institute of Russian Language of KRSU is organizing a large-scale celebration of the Day of the Russian Language and the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture together with the Institute of Russian Language of the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

 

Schoolchildren and students, parents and teachers will gather at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the square near the monument to the great writer A. Pushkin.

 

During the celebration of Russian Language Day, a ceremony will be held at which the winners of an essay competition among students in grades 5-9 of secondary schools in the Kyrgyz Republic with Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages of instruction will be announced. The winners of the competition will come to Moscow to study under the summer school program at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

 

As part of Russian Language Day, the best specialists in the field of Russian language and literature of KRSU and RUDN University will hold open seminars and master classes for event participants. During the celebration, it is planned to show the most striking works of the participants of the International Poem Marathon «Poems of a Beloved Poet for Two Weeks Around the World».

 

As part of the series of events dedicated to Russian Language Day, there will be an open master class and a film lecture for everyone interested in the grammar of the Russian language, as well as a screening of a feature film and an open discussion on significant aspects of instilling patriotism.

 

Participation in events is possible in person and remotely.

Open film lecture on the plot of the film «Only old men go into battle»:
