Days of Russian language and culture in KRSU

November 18-19, 2021 Russian State Humanitarian University and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, hold Days of Russian Language and Culture in KRSU.

The purpose of the events is – to popularize Russian education and culture among citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, provide methodological support to Russian language teachers of KRSU and other universities in Kyrgyzstan, familiarize them with modern technologies in learning the Russian language.

The action plan provides for lectures for teaching staff and university students, including presentations of popular science educational online modules, a training master class on working with Russian educational online resources, the opening of photo exhibitions «Russia – Kyrgyzstan: milestones of friendship and cooperation» and «History of Russian education in Kyrgyzstan (1867-1917)».

On November 19, an International Round Table «Problems and prospects for teaching Russian language and literature at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and other universities in Kyrgyzstan» will be held, where employees of universities in Kyrgyzstan will be invited, and which will be held in a mixed mode.

The events will be attended by the President of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences E.I. Pivovar, professor, doctor of philological sciences M.A. Krongauz, Professor, Doctor of Philology I.A. Sharonov, professor, doctor of philological sciences N.G. Bragina, Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences N.Yu. Guryeva, Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences A.V. Korchinsky, director of the Center for Distance Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences N.K. Berezina, director of the scientific library of the Russian State University for the Humanities L.L. Batova.

On November 19, 2021, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin and the Russian State Humanitarian University, as part of the Days of Russian Language and Culture at KRSU, are holding an International Round Table «Problems and prospects for teaching Russian language and literature at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and other universities in Kyrgyzstan».

Round table participants are invited to discuss the practice of teaching the Russian language and Russian literature at universities in Kyrgyzstan, including in non-humanitarian student audiences, analyze the system of teaching the Russian language to foreign students, the practice of using electronic teaching aids and various digital resources to organize classes in the Russian language and literature.

Public figures, deans of philological faculties, heads of departments of Russian language and literature, teachers of Russian language and literature of higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan are invited to participate in the Round Table.
