Take pictures of Kyrgyzstan and learn Russian

Institute of Russian Language of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin announces the start of a new creative competition «Kyrgyzstan – country of heavenly mountains and kind hearts». Participation is invited foreign citizens, having ever visited Kyrgyzstan and captured on camera its landscapes, city attractions, the beauty of its cultural heritage, images of rural and urban residents, as well as interhuman relations.

The goals of the competition these are deepening the perception and understanding of multinational Kyrgyzstan by foreigners, popularizing its national traditions and culture, creating interest in the Russian language through creative activity, as well as developing a tolerant attitude towards foreign applicants and students.

The competition will be held in five categories:

• The beauty of the land of Ala-Too
• There is a city like this on the map
• Country in faces
• Culture without borders
• Life is in the frame.

Conditions of the competition

• Persons who are not citizens of Kyrgyzstan can take part in the competition.
• To take part in the competition, until February 8, 2021 by email institut_russ@mail.ru must send: a completed questionnaire, photo files, as well as a short essay in Russian (6-7 sentences) about your impressions of Kyrgyzstan. It should start with words «I love Kyrgyzstan because...».
• Photos of any genre that correspond to its theme are accepted for the competition.
• Participants in the competition can propose no more than 5 (five) photographs for consideration by the organizer.
• Competition Photo Format – JPEG, Photo Resolution – 300 DPI, File Size Up to 5 MB. Photos must not contain inscriptions – authorship, year, title and other symbols.
• The competition will not accept photographs that contain subjects that incite social, racial, national or religious hatred and enmity; have undergone computer processing; have low artistic quality.
• The results of the competition will be announced on February 12, 2021 on the website Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, as well as on the Russian Language Institute’s Instagram page @russ.krsu.edu.kg.
• Works, winners of the competition, will be posted on the university website www.krsu.edu.kg, on the Russian Language Institute Instagram page @russ.krsu.edu.kg, as well as printed and presented at the photo exhibition, which opens on February 19, 2021 in the hall of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
• The winners will be awarded certificates and will be eligible to participate free of charge in a week-long online marathon in the Russian language, which starts On March 15, 2021.

Foreign citizens who have ever visited Kyrgyzstan and captured with a camera its landscapes, sites of cities, the beauty of its cultural heritage, images of rural and urban residents, as well as human relations are invited to participate. The aims of the competition are to deepen the perception and understanding of multinational Kyrgyzstan by foreigners, to popularize its national traditions and culture, to form interest to the Russian language through creative activity, as well as to develop a tolerant attitude towards foreign applicants and students.    

The competition will be held in five nominations:

• There is a city on the map
• Country in faces
• Culture without borders
• Life in the frame

Conditions of the competition

• Participants of the competition can offer no more than 5 (five) photographs for consultation by the organizer.
• The format of photographs for participation in the competition is JPEG, photo resolution is 300 DPI, file size is up to 5 MB. Photos should not contain inscriptions - authority, year, title and other symbols.
• The competition will not accept photos that contain stories inciting social, racial, national or relevant hatred and enmity; photos passed computer processing; or photos of low artistic quality.
• The results of the competition will be announced on February 12, 2021 on the website of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation BN. Yeltsin, as well as on the page of The Russian Language Institute on Instagram @ russ.krsu.edu.kg.
• The winning works will be posted on the university website www.krsu.edu.kg, on the Russian Language Institute's Instagram page @ russ.krsu.edu.kg, as well as printed and presented at a photo exhibition that will open on February 19, 2021 in lobby of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
• The winners will be awarded with certificates and assigned to take part in a weekly online marathon in Russian for free, which starts on March 15, 2021.

比赛的目的是加深外国人对多国吉尔吉斯斯坦的认识和理解,普及其吉尔吉斯斯坦的民族传统和文化,通过创造性活动发展对俄语的兴趣,以及对外国申请人和学生形成宽容的态度。

比赛将以五项提名举行:

• 阿拉托土地之美
• 地图上有一个城市
• 人身国家
• 无国界文化
• 生活在框架中

比赛条件:

• 非吉尔吉斯斯坦公民的人可以参加比赛。
