The Department of World Economy of KRSU will hold a conference dedicated to the creative economy

On May 11, 2021, an international scientific and practical conference «Creative Economy – the most important factor in the country’s sustainable development» will be held in Bishkek, dedicated to the International Year of Creative Economy declared by the UN General Assembly. Event format: full-time/part-time.

Organizers of the conference – Department of World Economy of the KRSU and the secretariat of the Council for Business Development and Investments under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Candidates and doctors of science, master's students, graduate students, as well as representatives of creative industries, government agencies and international organizations are invited to participate in the conference.
 

The following issues will be discussed at the conference:

• Theoretical aspects of creative economics – problems of identification and assessment;
• Determinants of the development of the creative economy;
• Linking innovative technologies and creative industries;
• The impact of creative industries on sustainable development (MDGs);
• International practice in support of the development of creative industries;
• Practical issues in the development of creative industries: barriers and opportunities.

At the end of the conference a resolution will be adopted.
