Reading competition «I breathe – and that means I love! I love –and that means I live!»

From January 23 to February 24, 2023 Institute of Russian Language named after. A.O. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin holds a reading competition «I breathe – and that means I love! I love –and that means I live!», dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding master of Russian song and poetic creativity, classic of Soviet literature Vladimir Semenovich Vysotsky (01/25/1938 – 07/25/1980).

The goal educational competition <TAG1> drawing the attention of schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan to the literary heritage of V.S. Vysotsky, fostering interest in Russian literature, formation musical and aesthetic taste, patriotic feelings using the example of the song and poetic creativity of a poet who finds Russian in the Year language as a language of interethnic communication in the CIS is of particular importance: as a source of Russian – supranational – language, uniting 286 million Soviet people.

Students of grades 10-11 of secondary schools with Russian, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek languages of instruction are invited to participate in the event.

Conditions for participation in the competition:

• Videos are accepted for the competition in russian, in which students recite works in the poetic genre.
• The material must contain neither complete nor partial plagiarism. If this condition is not met, the material will not be allowed to participate in the competition.
• Participation in the competition is personal. Collective works not accepted.
• Videos can be created by any available video devices (mobile phone camera, smartphone, digital camera, tablet computer, professional or amateur video camera).
• The video must be submitted to the competition in format MP4 in resolution pixels 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
• Timing of the video – no more than 2 minutes.
• From one school to the Competition can be submitted no more than three works.
• File names must be written in format familia-Vysotsky (for example Zakirov-Vysotsky).
• At the beginning of the video they are indicated last name and participant name, class, educational institution, locality, region.
• The work is accompanied by a completed one questionnaire participant.
• Members' works must be sent by email: center_russ@mail.en
• Works are accepted until 24 hours (Bishkek time) February 24, 2023. 

     Performances will be judged on the following criteria:

• selection of the work;
• performance artistry;
• the use of means of expressive reading (logical stress, intonation, tempo, timbre, emotional-expressive coloring of the performance) to realize the author’s artistic intention;
• clarity and correctness of diction.

Based on the results of the competition, the winners will be determined I I, II, III degrees.

The best works will be posted on social networks: Facebook and Instagram Institute of Russian Language KRSU.
