Competition of dramatizations of fables by Ivan Andreevich Krylov

Institute of Russian Language named after. A. O. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B. N. Yeltsin from 12 January to 16 February conducts a fable dramatization competition Ivan Andreevich Krylov (1769 – 1844)

 «...And here’s what they talk about in Fables», dedicated to the 255th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian fabulist.

Staging – stage design of literary text; reproduction on stage of time, events, state of mind, characteristic speech of the heroes of a literary work.

Purpose of the educational competition <TAG1> increasing the spiritual culture of students through Russian literary classics; creating interest in the artistic apt word, the Russian language in general; promoting the process of children learning prose and high in life, the importance of its moral aspects; training schoolchildren have the ability to see relevant, modern content in a fable as genre didactic literature, which I masterfully mastered. A. Krylov; education in children, using the example of Ivan Andreevich’s wise fables, features that carry eternal universal values; as well as awakening creative, including dramatic, abilities in the children and instilling the skill of working in a group.

Schoolchildren in grades 5-7 of secondary schools with Russian, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek languages of instruction are invited to participate in the event.

Participants must submit to the competition a video dramatization based on one of I.’s fables. A. Krylova.  

 

Conditions for participation in the competition:

  •  videos of dramatizations in russian are accepted;
  • only collective works (scenes) are allowed;
  • videos can be created by any available video devices (camera mobile phone, smartphone, digital camera, tablet computer, professional or amateur video camera);
  • the video must be made in format MP4 in resolution pixels 1920x1080 or 1280x720;
  • video timing – not more than 7 minutes;
  •  no more than three entries may be submitted to the competition by one school;
  • the file names should be written in the following format: surnames_Krylov (for example: Kuliev, Zakirova _Krylov);
  • at the beginning of the video, the following information is provided in text format: names of participants, class, educational institution, locality, region of the republic and name of the fable.

The completed one must be attached to the work questionnaire participants.

Videos are accepted from January 12 to February 16, 2024. by email: center_russ@mail.en.

The criteria for evaluating the dramatization are

- ability to convey the character and basic meaning of the fable;

- the clarity of the participants’ diction in the dramatization;

- expressiveness of speech, emotionality and artistry of performance;

  - the ability to convey your attitude to content with intonation, gesture, and facial expressions;

 - use of musical accompaniment, scenery and costumes appropriate to the content of the fable, – is welcome;

- compliance of the selected material with the age characteristics of students in grades 5-7;

- compliance with regulations.

 

Based on the results of the competition, three prizes will be determined.

 

The winners are awarded diplomas competition, as well as valuable prizes. Certificates will be sent to all participants. Teachers who prepared the winners of the competition are awarded a letter of gratitude.
