Institute of Russian Language named after. A. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin s 10 to 30 November 2023. conducts a monologue competition «The hardest thing for a person is to be a person day after day» from the works of Chingiz Torekulovich Aitmatov (1928-2008)», dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kyrgyz writer, publicist and public figure.
The goal monologue competition <TAG1> attracting the attention of schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan to the literary heritage of Ch. Aitmatova, broadening the reading horizons, identifying acting and performing skills, as well as promoting the development of imagination and enrichment of the inner world of a teenager.
Students of grades 5-11 from secondary schools of the Kyrgyz Republic with Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages of instruction are invited to participate in the event.
Conditions for participation in the competition:
- Videos are accepted for the competitionrecordings of monologues in Russian (declaration of works by Ch. Aitmatova in the genre prose).
- Participation in the competition – personal.
- Videos can be created by any available video devices (mobile phone camera, smartphone, digital camera, tablet computer, professional or amateur video camera).
- The video must be made in MP4 format in pixels resolution 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
- Timing of the video – no more than 4 minutes.
- File names should be written in the following format: last name_monologue competition (for example: Zakirov_monologue competition).
- At the beginning of the video the following information is provided in the text format: the participant's last and first name, class, educational institution, locality, region of the republic and the work from which the monologue was selected.
- The work is accompanied by a completed one questionnaire participant.

Videos are accepted from 10 to 30 November 2023.
Performances will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- selection of the work;
- performance artistry;
- the use of means of expressive reading (logical stress, intonation, tempo, timbre, emotional-expressive coloring of the performance) to realize the author’s artistic intention;
- clarity and correctness of diction.
Based on the results of the competition, the winners will be determined I I, II, III degrees.
